Convert PDF shipping labels, PNGs, and JPEGs into native Zebra ^GFA Graphic Field ASCII ZPL commands with adjustable monochrome thresholding and Floyd–Steinberg dithering.
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Accepted Inputs | PDF (Page 1 rasterization), PNG, JPG / JPEG up to 5 MiB |
| Binarization Modes | Adjustable Grayscale Threshold (0–255) & Floyd–Steinberg Halftone Dithering |
| Target ZPL Command | ^GFA,totalBytes,totalBytes,rowBytes,HEX (MSB-first 1-bit monochrome bitmap) |
| Row Stride Alignment | ceil(widthDots / 8) bytes per row with deterministic zero-padding |
Printer settings use 8 / 12 / 24 dots per millimeter. Nominal 203 / 300 / 600 DPI names correspond to effective 203.2 / 304.8 / 609.6 DPI device grids. Screen dimensions use the CSS reference of 96 px/in.
Drop a local PDF, PNG, or JPEG; the document stays in the browser and its first page is rendered at the target print grid.
Choose threshold or Floyd–Steinberg dithering, then tune the monochrome conversion until the print preview is clean.
Inspect the generated ^GFA source, run preflight, and export the physical label as PDF, PNG, SVG, or raw ZPL.
Preflight validates supported identifiers and geometry; it does not certify scanner grades. Fix every red error before exporting.
Always use standard Threshold (around 128–160) for shipping labels, text, and line-art logos so barcode edges remain solid black and crisp. Use Floyd–Steinberg Dithering only for photographic images or shaded graphics that need simulated grayscale on a 1-bit thermal printhead.
Set the canvas dimensions to your logo's target print size, upload the PNG, and copy the generated ^FO0,0^GFA,...^FS line from the source editor directly into your master ZPL label template.
